THEN AND NOW

My interest in the link between past and present began with my mom's passing. As I looked through old photos of her I realized that much of who I am was influenced and framed by the experiences and people in my past, especially my mother. And as I completed each painting I learned more about our relationship and my heritage. I continue to do work that is inspired  by the link between generations and the mother/daughter bond.
