GLAMOROUS WORK

This series was an offshoot of the Now and Then series. As an art professor, independent artist and mother of 5 lively children it was always a balancing act between what I wanted to do, could do and what was expected of me. In these paintings I address these issues while still giving these women the dignity and self confidence they deserve.
A retro modern painting of a woman in a white dress and heels standing on a ladder paintings a floral mural.
A contemporary realist painting of a mother in an apron filled with many children's toys sitting in a vintage white chair.
A contemporary painting of a young woman in vintage dress stirring a pot on the stove in front of a large window.
A contemporary fine art oil painting on canvas of a woman in a pink and red kimono wearing a tool belt filled with beauty supplies and brandishing her hair dryer like a weapon with her large brown dog by her side.
A woman in a white and yellow ball gown holds an iron and is encircled by the electrical cord.
A contemporary realist painting of a young woman in vintage clothing holding a large saw with a wooden handle.
